Creating content that resonates with your audience is more of an art than a science. Yet, even the most creative artists can benefit from a map to guide them. If you want to craft a narrative that not only captures attention but also fills the unspoken needs of your audience, having the right tools is essential. That’s where the Rellify Neuraverse™ steps in, offering a lens by which to focus your content efforts with precision.
In this piece, we’re peeling back the curtain on how the Rellify Neuraverse™ isn’t just another tool — it’s the companion you never knew you needed, the one that helps you spot hidden opportunities and dodge foreseeable pitfalls. If you’ve ever wondered which topics truly matter to your audience, where your content has hit the mark or where it’s missing something, you’re in the right place. We’ll show you how this platform can become the compass that points you toward content success.
First overview: What’s in it?
Oh, there’s a lot, even if not everything is visible at first. We partition the view into multiple sections.
On top you’ll see two tabs: “Topics,” which is the current view, and “Saved topics” that stay empty until you have saved your first topic.
Below, you’ll see your recommendations. These could be up to six or only one, depending on your topic coverage, site performance and competition.
Next is the main section with all your topics and connected numbers.
And in the right pane you can see how you perform for a chosen topic compared to your competition.
Let’s dive deeper.
The main section: your topics, sorted by relevance
Explore the six columns that will support you in building up your content strategy. You can always sort the results per column.
Topic
All topics we have identified for you are clustered into main topics with connected subtopics. There can be subtopics up to four levels deep. Click on the small arrow left of the topic, and the cluster will open up. This offers you the ability to dive deeper into your topics.
Search volume
This is the average monthly search volume for the topic. If you dive deeper into your topics, you’ll see this search volume also for every subtopic. That allows you to make decisions based on the demand for a topic if you choose to do so.
Relevance
This score is based on the distance to your focus topics as well as the demand. A green relevance bar means that the topic is contextually similar to those topics you gave to us as your strategic focus. A gray relevance bar means that the topic has a lower similarity but is still connected to your business or topical focus.
The number of colored bars goes a level deeper to support this approach. The more bars, the higher the topic’s relevance within the context of its green or gray status. And vice versa.
Topic competition
How difficult is it to rank for this topic on Google? This score is divided into multiple degrees: extreme, high, normal, low. A high competition score doesn’t necessarily mean that you shouldn’t cover that topic. If the topic is highly relevant to your business, do your best to demonstrate your expertise despite the competition. Even if you do not rank high for it, the content will still show Google and your visitors that you cover all topic-relevant information on your website.
My traffic share
This percentage indicates how much of the traffic for that topic goes to your page, compared to the competitors you defined. The percentage is based on the total traffic for the sites of you and your competitors, using monthly search volume and rankings.
My top 20 articles
How many of your articles rank among the top 20 for the topic? In the main view, this includes rankings for the main topic as well as for subtopics.
Filter your topics
You can filter all your topics to better fit your strategy by clicking the small “Topics All” button above the Topic column. From the dropdown menu that appears, select filters to show you topics within the named categories. For example, “My Top 20” will show you topics for which you already have top-20 ranking articles.
Other filters will reveal topics or subtopics yet uncharted or for which you and your competitors have top-20 ranking articles either exclusively or shared.
Get creative with what you do with this information. Maybe you can expand your reach and share of certain topics by publishing additional articles.
As for competitor-exclusive topics, could it be rewarding to step into those?
To better understand which topics you share the top 20 with your competitors, simply choose “Shared Top 20.” Finally, the “Uncharted Top 20 Territory” will show you all topics for which none of you is ranking. How about taking advantage of this opportunity?
It’s all entirely up to you.
The Neuraverse™ recommendations
To offer easier access to the data that is impossible by regular filtering, we’ve introduced six recommendation-specific filters. These data-driven recommendations are based on insights holistically specific to your circumstances. Only those that will deliver results for you in any given exploration will appear.
Topic Gems
If you see the “Topic Gems” recommendations, this is a good sign. For us the most relevant and rewarding one. If you click on the recommendation, we’ll show you only those of your topics, that – in comparison to the rest – generate a relatively large amount of traffic with a rather small number of articles. Check, if there are subtopics you’ve not touched yet and go for it.
Expand Expertise
You’ll probably see this recommendation as it occurs most frequently with the one below. The topics you’ll see are those, where you already published articles that rank, but you covered not all subtopics. This is your opportunity to – well – expand your expertise.
Build Expertise
It could be that you published one or two articles on the here shown topics. However, this is only a fraction of the topics to be covered, as your articles cover less than 20% of the available subtopics.
Best for series
Find topics clusters with those subtopics that are strongly related to each other due to their content proximity, so you can create article series with them. They are sorted in descending order by average monthly search volume in combination with relevance (similarity to company priority topics). Instead of cramming all the important points into one article, you can cover each subtopic in a separate article. An introductory article announces the series and is updated in terms of linking with each new part. This way you can serve important content in easily consumable bites.
Fast Ranking
Are there some low hanging fruits? Catch them!
Clicking on “Fast ranking”, you’ll find topic clusters that own those subtopics, for which you could rank faster, due to lower topic competition and search volume.
Compare to your competitors
For every topic, you click on in the main section, we’ll show in the right pane how you perform, compared to your competitors. You’ll understand how the traffic share for a topic is distributed across you and your competitors. We also show you how many articles your competitors have in the top 20. Why not focus on the topics most relevant to your business, on which you have already written, have already achieved initial rankings, but are far behind your main competitor?
Save topics
Within the Neuraverse™, you have the ability to directly create articles out of a chosen topic. Another possibility is to first save those topics and discuss them with your team. Based on your decisions, you can then create the single articles directly in the “Saved topics” section.
To save a topic, just click on a topic and then on the “Save topic” button bottom right. This action will save the topic you selected including its subtopics. You’ll always see how many topics you have saved inside the “Saved Topics” tab header.
Create articles
You’re ready to create your first articles? Let’s go!
Regardless of whether you want to generate your articles from the overall overview or from the view of saved topics: you have to select the topic on which you want to write an article by clicking. If the topic does not have several subtopics and would therefore be too extensive for a single article, you can click the “Create article” button at the bottom right. A pop-up appears.
We prefilled the topic as a title, but of course you can adapt that to fit your needs. Within the “Directions” section you can go into details for your article. We offer you headlines from your Neuraverse that stand for the different directions you could take with your article. Choose one and we’ll deliver you better matching topic defining keywords and relevant questions in the Brief section.
You can choose the dates and an assignee if you want, but you don’t have to. To move forward, you have to choose between three buttons:
- Create: Would you like the article to be created in the background? This way you can create additional articles in one go.
- Create and open: This way, we create the article and open it in the Brief section, so you can directly move forward with filling out the article specs. In the Outline section of the Brief, you’ll see all recommended keywords for this article as well as questions you should answer.
- Generate article: If you choose the fully automated process, we’ll take some time to identify the most relevant keywords and questions for the direction you choosed, generate a matching outline for you and write an article. You’ll see a loading screen and can move forward in your article creation process in the meantime. We always recommend to take the AI-written text as an inspiration to improve. Don’t just go with the automataly generated text without reading through and fact checking. Is it a smooth read? What does the R-Score say? Give it a final touch to optimal approach your audience.
What are you waiting for? Check your Neuraverse, discover topics relevant to your business and your target groups and cover them in articles that people enjoy reading.
