A No-Index-Tag is an instruction on a web page that tells search engines not to display the page in their search results. The tag is used to exclude specific pages that should not appear in search engine results for various reasons. For example, pages with duplicate content, pages with little added value, or pages that are not fully developed can be tagged with a no-index to prevent them from appearing in search results. The tag is usually placed in the HTML of the page and can be applied either to specific pages or to the entire site.
